Been eating a lot of sugar.

Let’s start fresh in October.

Hi, if you’re wondering how I’m doing, I’m doing just fine in this third world country. Commuting four hours on the road to and from work, learning different kinds of loans, grocery shopping in the wet market, beginning to cook regularly, spending my salary on shoes and saloon, always looking forward to weekends because weekdays are so exhausting, are what I have been up to.

Announcement
I have been married for two months.
Happy 66th Indonesia
Thank you for the day off.
Just for you.

July first on a Friday
I’m only excited because it’s weekend.
I’m only motivated because of this sms: ‘Selamat pagi,Irma sayang Papa.selamat bekerja ,semoga senang ,semangat, dan gembira selalu.’
I’m only looking forward because I’m getting new shoes.
Oh Indonesians, sometimes I don't understand us
Instead of congratulating me for my recent marriage, people ask questions such as:
How was the first night!
Or give comments like:
OOHHH you walk differently now *wink*.
Is this a joke? Because I don’t find it funny.

Counting down days and hours is not a new thing for me. I used to count down to when I’m going to see my Benny Hutagalung. For almost two years I counted down 14 days, 7 days, 3 days, tomorrow, 12 hours, 1 more hour, a few more minutes…
I can never forget the excitement of waiting at the arrival hall of Changi Airport. And I can never forget the sorrow at the departure hall…...
In a make up store
I was asked a few necessary questions to apply for membership.
The lady asked: Are you married or not?
Two seconds later I said: Um I’m getting married this Saturday.
The lady replied: Well, you’re not then.
Miss you tumblr
I wish I have funny stories to tell you. But I don’t! The things happening around me are really depressing. Don’t wanna ruin your day with emo posts.
Oh I know! I’ll tell you this: I only work for 12 days this month! Exciting right!
Oh and! I’m turning 30 in 7 years! Um well I guess that’s rather depressing than exciting huh.
What else what else.
Um Um Um.

Hanging out with gaul people
1. They use the words njing (dog), nyet (monkey), tai (shit) in as many sentences as possible.
2. They love drama. —>Very very unnecessary, especially because a lot of people are starving and jobless.
3. The use of ‘aku’ (I) and ‘kamu’ (you) to a friend of the opposite gender is unacceptable because that means you and him/her are having a little something...

A friend asked, ‘Why don’t you work as a flight attendant?’
Enough said! I really should consider this as a career. When is the next walk in interview for Pramugari Garuda?
Thinner. Lighter. Faster.
I want to be just like iPad 2.

The signs
1. Disney channel puzzle in a random restaurant, just like the one at home
2. Car number 1760, reminding me of the bus no 176 to go home
3. Somebody’s bag in the elevator, exactly like the bag I used to carry to school
The signs have spoken. I have made my decision.

Announcement
Sometime in May 2010, a guy called and said he wanted to marry me.
I kinda said yes. Kinda because first it was a PHONE CALL, second because there was NO RING.
I was like, so I’m getting married?
Six months later, I got the ring.
I was still like, so I’m getting married?
Sixty minutes ago, my mom sent me a Facebook message asking questions regarding the wedding dress, pre-wedding...

Hello
Let’s just stay here.
Kthxbye!
You ok?
“Good day, I’m OK. Bad day, I’m OK. What’s the difference?”
There's so much I want to tell you
So much that I don’t know how to put it in words.
What's up Jakarta! What's up!
(Title was inspired by my dahling Alana’s facebook status on Atlanta)
Right now, I’m in Jakarta for money. Wait no, I mean for experience. So I guess if people ask where I live now, the answer would be Jakarta.
However.
You should know that I hate that answer, so you should not ask me that question.

Right now I’m sitting alone facing the runway with Christmas songs playing. It really should snow right now. Then it would be perfect.

Hi! This isn’t a goodbye note, but I’m leaving. I’m leaving to a place where I once promised myself to never ever ever live there, ever. But I’m still leaving..
This isn’t a goodbye note because I want to come back. I will be back. Save a space for me.
See you again soon.

Ranking 1
There is this TV show in Indonesia called ‘Ranking 1’ where there are like 50 participants or something and they are asked questions ranging from general knowledge to specific subjects like science or something. Once they get the answers wrong, out they go.
So anyway, when it was finally down to two high school students, the question was:
“What is the capital city of...

December is the season
I notice that there are so many birthdays in September (thanks to facebook for keeping me updated on birthdays). Then I wonder why, so I count nine months back coz maybe it’ll give me a clue or something on why this is so. Ok. So nine months before September is December.
Ah. It’s the festive month and the year is ending. So I guess people are just…happy?
My baby sister is learning new words
She refers to clock as cock.
